Say what you mean & Mean what you say

Whiny bitch Republicans cry that "Obama's a narcissist,"
proving that they don't possess a dictionary or a clue,
because next to the malignant, narcissistic, super-elitists
they have scurrying about in their party, our President
has low self-esteem!

The so-called-christians whine/cry/bitch/moan that they
are maligned and oppressed, while in fact are involved in
actively repressing, oppressing, brutalizing, and abusing
any and all who would stand against their take-over of
government and policies. Or who simply disagree with them.
Newsflash; you don't know which end is up.

Perfect-acting wannabees with no idea of the real world--
sheltered, surrounded by Yes Men, privileged, expectant,
unaware, dilettantes--call me 'hateful' when I speak truth.

All three have one thing in common besides the lapsed
reasoning and twisted logic.

These mental midgets want to live on an island where no
one opposes them, where everywhere they turn they see
their own image reflected back at them. They want a cozy
warm cocoon where they are the monarchs, and they can get
away with anything they want.

They want to have their cake and eat it, too.

There's a huge difference between 'people not handing over
everything you want' and 'people being mean to you.'

Grow up, get a clue, and get the fuck over yourselves.

Perspective is a Frighteningly Lovely Asset

fear is not meant as deterrent;
fear is the challenge...the jumping on point.

fear is the invitation to clean house.
It is the opportunity to access courage.
Because courage isn't learned, so much
as it is allowed to be. It's always in us,
waiting for a chance to burst forth.

There are lots of myths on this mud ball.
Myths like 'fear keeps you from doing
what you want.'
(Not true; Fear tricks us and lies, under-
mines, tainting us with doubt and worry.
It is not real, even  when we cling to it.)

Myths like 'fear is inherent and cannot be
overcome.'
(Not true: Fear is taught and beaten in.
It is a mindset, an imposed frailty.)

Myths like 'fear is absolute and imposing.'
(Not true; many great things have been
accomplished with fear running shotgun,
but not in control.)

Or how about 'fear is evident when felt.'
(Not true: I am astonished at how people
praise my fearlessness--from the outside
looking in--when nothing could be further
from the truth. I follow the adage; "Feel
the fear, and do it anyway.")

fear is an emotion; a trick of the light.
We each decide what to do with it.
In those moments, courage is tapped.

Next time fear calls, puffing itself up in
a telemarketing campaign of distress and
despair, just clear your throat and state
clearly and emphatically:
"No, bitch, the scared little girl doesn't

live here anymore! Stop calling!"
and then hang up on its sorry ass.

George Takei vs. Tennessee's "Don't Say Gay" Bill

Okay, I love George, and he's famously 'on mark' with his assessments of
all the political ridiculousness and stupidity. Also, I am aware that humor is
typically more effective than a tirade for changing hearts and minds, and
generally more widely received.

But really...what the hell is UP with Tennessee?!?! They have been all over
the news every day of the week and twice on Sundays this past year for
one damned Bubba-licious, dope-headed move after another! Has everyone
there fallen and hit their head? Is there something in the water that has
significantly lessened the collective IQ?

Pull it together, Tennessee. We're not in the Middle Ages, even if you like
staying in the dark.

Proposition 8, Explained

For the uninitiated, here's the skinny on California's
Proposition 8, via the biting edge of satire and song!

Since many seem only to have heard about the whole
she-bang with the outcry from conservatives this week
(in response to the overturning,) I figured this is a good
time to break it down for everyone! Enjoy!

John Barrowman - "I Am What I Am"

Thought this would be a great song to introduce to the new generation,
and John's moving intro as to how meaningful it is to him (as well as
his boundless enthusiasm and heart) are the perfect match for this piece.

What a beautiful sentiment, and we don't dwell on it nearly enough.

When we wake up in the morning, wherever we go during the day,
we have to proudly and defiantly proclaim that our lives are worth living,
that our wants are worthwhile, and that our feelings are valid. Be strong!

Hate Groups Try To Ruin Another Republic

Fight the good fight; oppose evil everywhere!
The Force is With You!

So those Fuck-wads at the "Family Research Council" (the idiot
anti-gay hate group) are protesting and trying to change things at
BioWare, the company that produced the new "Star Wars:The
Old Republic" MMO game.

The new online video game allows players to choose same-sex
relationships or status when creating and picking their fictional
characters. (Yay!) The FRC dolts think everyone thinks like
them--or they're upset because they know we don't--and they're
trying to put the Kabosh on it all.

So, do your part...
sign in to the forums and post an appreciative or supportive
comment for the game and company. Here's the game site;
https://account.swtor.com/user/register

Or just contact the company and let them know your thoughts
in support of the game and the same-sex character existence.
