Well, it's time for another frightening round of 

ignorant questions and thoughtful-educated-answers-

that-will-nonetheless-not-be-heeded.

After all, the morons know their 'basis' for discrimination is

ludicrous; you strip it all away and you'll get a rousing, child-like

screech of "WELL, BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT TO LIKE

YOU, THAT'S WHY!" 

(Damn me and others like me for boiling it

down to brass tax, dispersing the smoke and mirrors!)



Another Ditto-head heard from, as obviously all of "Yahweh's" laws
are undisputed and held in highest accord!



1: Q: So, why's come you gay guys and lesbians wants to get

married? What's the big deal?

A: Exactly. If it's not a big deal, then

why is it a big deal?

2: Q: This is a slippery slope--Next thing you'll be saying it

should be legal for bigamy and marrying kids.

A: No, it's all about legal adults and legitimate relationships,

consenting folks...not coercion.

Are you aware of how many heterosexuals marry

underage children in the U.S. every year, though?

3: Q: Gay people are trying to make me believe something

that goes against my religion! That's discrimination!

A: Let's first determine that one statement has nothing

to do with the other; it's an illogical train of though,

and moot since both statements are fact.

What's desired is progression, and progress goes according

to societal standards, not simply one group's notion.

Similarly, the Constitution and Bill of Rights are set up

to protect society on whole from the 'tyrrany of the majority.'

If passed, marriage equality will require that people

comply with the law. And already existing laws will hopefully

guarantee that discrimination against us homosexuals

 is prevented as we exercise our freedom to marry.

Things can exist in the world without your giving

explicit approval, or changing your lifestyle.

"If It Was a Snake, It Would'a Bit Ya!"

Well, actually, I think it's obviously two, great big

GIANT snakes, but the lure of the Mighty Whitey,

some fake-ass smiles, and the almighty dollar have

a little more draw than common sense, these days.

Anyway, it couldn't be more obvious than if

Romney and Ryan put out ads where they

called us 'fags' and 'dykes' and then proceeded

to calmly ask us to 'Vote for them anyway!'

I personally am tired of a country that wants

to minimalize me and my feelings, to sweep

under the rug all the violence and bullying and

inappropriate treatment we receive, and to

expect us to expect second-class citizenry.

Things won't change unless we change them.

Any disappointment you have with Obama's

hesitancy and timetables will be exponentially

exacerbated by the aggressive assault Mitt

Romney and company will put forth against

us on behalf of his misguided 'religious' views.

The Devil in God's Clothing

So I live far out and have a hell of a time with
radio reception at my place. Consequently, sometimes
I get a station I wouldn't ordinarily listen to, like a
Fox News subscriber network.

Yesterday was just such a day, and I was subjected
to a ludicrous "Focus on the Family" 'news' update.

They had a piece about how the gay and lesbian service
members (and veterans) are looking to use momentum
from the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" to overturn
DOMA.

And how even though the country is firmly against this,
those poor lawmakers are being railroaded by those
fanatical gays.

And how we Queers are looking to get hold of the
government's money by getting all these benefits and
special rights.

And how this 'Agenda' is going to be forced down
the country's throat in an effort to legitimize homosexuality.

And then, they did the unthinkable, even for them.
(Although really it's an old ploy for these lying bastards.)
They immediately followed that story with a story about
child molesters using the Village Voice classified ads section
to promote child sex trade.

That's all it takes; just to connect the images of the two things
(which are completely unrelated) in the minds of the scared
and reactionary American public. These saps who believe that
Fox is fair and balanced, and think 'Focus on the Family' is
credible and well-minded.

I don't have a problem with people having an opinion, and
certainly not with expressing it as opinion. But when these
yahoos use lies and misinformation and scare tactics to create
an atmosphere of distrust and hatred, that's war.

And anything goes in war.

We gay people are simply not capable of what's required to
commit to the same level of prestige and honor that heterosexual*
couples have devoted 5,000 years to getting correct....(with
God's and little baby Jesus' assistance of course.)

    * (as well as purportedly heterosexual people, bisexual people,
    closeted gay people, gay people seeking green cards, people
    who lied about loving the other person, people scamming for
    tax breaks, people simply seeking parents for their kids, and
    others.)

Gays and lesbians (and other Queer folks) don't yet have the
wherewithal to promote the necessary brutality of arranged marriages,
marriages of convenience, being trapped into marriage by demands
of  a religious family, purchasing a wife from her family, breeding
to produce workers for the farm, being shamed into marriage to
cover an early pregnancy, getting trapped to provide a 'family' for
an unexpected pregnancy,

Gays are not subtle enough or quiet enough to master the fine points
of perfecting extra-marital affairs.

We homos have never been into the kids; that was a myth spread by all
those heterosexual child rapists to distract from the truth. Used to be, the
straight pedophiles could legally marry underage girls, with the consent of
their loving breeder parents. And of course the highest numbers of child
abuse and child rape occur within the household at the hands of a hetero
parent of either sex. We gays can't hold a candle to that with our crazy
Pride parades.Go, Straight America! Maintain those values.
 
   (And if things get stale, pick a bride or groom on go-around 2 or 3 who
   has some kids of their own; get a taste of something new since the only
   requirement for hets getting married is blood work and license. It's like
   shooting fish in a barrel.)

We are too focused and committed to be willing to start and stop
multiple marriages (3, 4, 5 times or more), and we aren't hypocritical
enough to approach the same church we would use to deny others
favor to have them provide the ceremony for the additional multiple
marriages.

We aren't savvy enough to be able to pick and choose what items
from 'sacred tomes' are legitimately 'of God' and pertinent to our
lives, and which can be dropped and ignored. Wow! Straight
people are so smart!

Queers are too sensitive to the needs of others to be as physically
abusive, emotionally abusive, exploitative, verbally abusive, or otherwise
dismissive of offspring as straight America is. And of course, pumping
out babies is a key aspect of getting married. Cuz everybody's doing it!
We couldn't deny our child medical care due to some numb-nutted religion.
(We'd probably screw up and take them to the doctor.)

So, please help us out and continue denying that it's 2011; you're really
helping us out, America. If we aren't granted equal representation under
the law, maybe people will stop holding us accountable for all the crazy
shit going down in this country!
